カテリナ先生はウクライナ出身で英語・ウクライナ語、日本語の講師としても
活躍しています。生徒さんのニーズをレッスンに正確に反映することを大切にしているので、

皆さん！はじめまして！ウクライナ出身でカテリナと申します。
皆さんの教師になれることを、とても嬉しく思います。
私は昔からずっと、教えることに夢中になっています。中学生の頃も、近所の子供たちの入学準備に協力するのが大好きでした。
「学び」を「冒険」に変えるため、メリー・ポピンズに統治していた「知識の国」を作って様々なクエストを与えていました。
あの時の経験を通して初めて、「指図」ではなく、「励み」になるアプローチが大事だということが分かりました。
語学は私の生涯にわたって興味関心のあることの一つです。日本語をはじめ英語、母国語であるウクライナ語などの言語に強い興味を抱いています。日本と英語圏の比較言語学を専攻する言語学者であり、週末学校、大学の教室、マンツーマン、オンラインなどさまざまな環境で、未就学児からビジネス専門家まで、あらゆる年齢やレベルの生徒を指導してきました。
生徒たちが学習目標を達成するのを見るのは何より幸せなことです。海外旅行で自信を持って会話をしたい、 国際キャリアを形成したい、語学試験に合格したいなど、どんな目標でもお役に立てて嬉しいです。私は、勉強が効果的で楽しいものであることが重要だと信じているので、生徒を惹きつける面白い授業方法を見つけるよう心がけています。
授業以外の時間は、日本やその文化について学ぶことが大好きです。その他にも、本を読んだり、歌を歌ったり、美味しい料理を試したりするのも好きです。

Hi there, language learners! It’s great to meet you. My name is Kateryna, and I’m a teacher from Ukraine.
Teaching has always been my passion. Even back in school, I loved helping my neighborhood kids get ready for their classes. To make learning an exciting adventure, I created a whole “Knowledge Wonderland” led by Mary Poppins! This experience has taught me how important it is to find an approach that inspires and engages each student instead of simply dictating their learning process.
Languages have also been a lifelong interest of mine, starting with my native Ukrainian and expanding to English and Japanese. I’m a philologist by training, with a major in comparative linguistics of Japan and English-speaking countries, and I’ve taught students of all ages and levels, from preschoolers to business professionals, in various settings such as a weekend school, a university classroom, one-on-one, and online.
My greatest joy is seeing my students achieve their language goals, whether it’s to communicate confidently while traveling, build a career in an international company, or prepare for a language exam. I always try to find exciting and unique ways to engage my students because I believe that learning should be both effective and fun.
When I’m not teaching, I love learning more about Japan and its culture. I also enjoy reading, singing, and experimenting with new and delicious recipes.
